Bhushan Govilkar

Bhushan Govilkar is a mixing, mastering, and recording engineer with over a decade of experience working in the USA, Indian, and Southeast Asian music industries. Having worked with renowned studios such as The Hit Factory (NYC), Electric Lady Studios and Platinum Sound Studios in New York, Bhushan brings the skill set and experience that a top-notch mixing and mastering engineer needs.

Bhushan graduated top of his class at Full Sail University and moved to NYC to work with some of the best studios in the city. Coming from a background in electronics engineering and having worked with reputed artists such as Keith Richards, Ryuichi Sakamoto, The Harlem Gospel Choir, Slick Rick, and others, Bhushan has the proficiency to deliver a rich, perfectly balanced mix.

 

Bhushan is currently based in Mumbai, working with artists from all over the world including USA, UK, India, Hong Kong, and Thailand. He also assists Grammy-nominated mixer Matthew Sims in his projects with artists such as Jackson Wang, Hit-Boy, Panthepack, Illmind, OBOY, Thaitanium, Ramengvrl, Tony Ann, etc. Bhushan is also the lead mixing and mastering engineer for the Brooklyn-based music production studio, The Lightchild Company, responsible for audio work done for films such as Mixtape (2021), Many Saints of Newark (2021), The Inspection (2022), Beauty (2022) to name a few. 

 

Armed with a decade of experience, Bhushan is known to deliver the sound that best suits the artist’s needs. Having worked with a wide variety of genres such as Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Classical, Indian Classical, Folk, etc. Bhushan delivers the perfect sonic signature that is needed for a piece of music to make it shine through the speakers.
